धन लक्ष्मी
Ashta Lakshmi · Sacred Day: Friday
Dhana Lakshmi is the goddess of monetary wealth (dhana = wealth, money, gold). She is the form of Lakshmi most commonly invoked for business success, cash flow, and financial prosperity. This is the Lakshmi worshipped on Dhanteras — the first day of Diwali — when people buy gold, silver, or utensils as a symbol of welcoming her into their homes. Dhana Lakshmi represents not just money itself but the flow of abundance — the ability to earn, retain, and grow wealth through honest means.
Six arms (sometimes eight) holding a chakra, conch, kalasha of gold coins, bow, arrow, lotus, and in abhaya and varada mudras. Seated on a red lotus. Golden complexion. Gold coins constantly flowing from one palm.
