सिद्धिविनायक
Ashta Vinayaka
Siddhivinayak at Siddhatek is the second of the Ashta Vinayaka. This is the form of Ganesha that grants siddhis (spiritual accomplishments and powers). According to tradition, Vishnu himself worshipped this form to acquire the siddhis needed to defeat the demons Madhu and Kaitabha. The temple stands on a small hill on the banks of the Bhima river. It is the only Ashta Vinayaka shrine where the idol has its trunk turned to the right (Dakshinabhimukhi) — a form considered unusually powerful and typically approached with great reverence.
Right-trunk (Dakshinabhimukhi) self-manifested idol — the only right-trunked one in the Ashta Vinayaka. Seated posture, four arms. The idol is about 3 feet tall. Yellow turmeric paste is the primary offering.
