सिद्धिदात्री
Navdurga
Siddhidatri is the ninth and final form of Durga — 'the giver of siddhis (spiritual perfections)'. She grants the eight classical siddhis — Anima, Mahima, Garima, Laghima, Prapti, Prakamya, Ishitva, and Vashitva. She is worshipped on Day 9 of Navratri, the culmination of the nine-night sadhana. According to tradition, Shiva himself worshipped Siddhidatri and obtained all the siddhis from her — which is why he is called Ardhanarishvara, having her as half of his own body. Day 9 is associated with the colour sky blue. Devotees offer sesame seeds and pray for spiritual attainment and liberation.
Four arms holding a chakra, a conch, a mace, and a lotus. Seated on a lotus (or a lion). Fair complexion, wearing red. Half of her body is Shiva's — representing Ardhanarishvara.
