Budha

Budha is Mercury — the planet of intellect, communication, speech, trade, and analytical reasoning. In Vedic astrology he represents business acumen, learning, humour, and nervous-system health. Budha is considered a gentle benefic when in positive placement. He is the son of Chandra and Tara (the wife of Brihaspati). Wednesday is sacred to Budha. Those with weak Mercury in their chart often worship Vishnu, who is the presiding deity of Mercury.
