9 Forms of Goddess Durga
Over the nine nights of Navratri, one form of the Divine Mother is worshipped each day — beginning with the mountain-daughter Shailaputri and culminating in Siddhidatri, the giver of spiritual perfections. Each day has its traditional colour and offering.
शैलपुत्री
നവരാത്രി ഒന്നാം ദിവസം ആരാധിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന ഒമ്പത് ദുർഗ രൂപങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നാണ് ശൈലപുത്രി.
ब्रह्मचारिणी
കടുത്ത ലാഭം (ബ്രഹ്മചാര്യ, ടാപസ്) പ്രയോഗിക്കുന്ന ദുർഗയുടെ രണ്ടാമത്തെ രൂപമാണ് ബ്രഹ്മചരിനി.
चन्द्रघण्टा
ചന്ദ്രഹന്ത ദൂർഗയുടെ മൂന്നാമത്തെ രൂപമാണ്.
कूष्माण्डा
കുഷ്മാന്ദ ദൂർഗയുടെ നാലാമത്തെ രൂപമാണ്.
स्कन्दमाता
സ്കന്ദമത ദുർഗയുടെ അഞ്ചാമത്തെ രൂപമാണ്.
कात्यायनी
കാത്യായാനി ദുർഗയുടെ ആറാമത്തെ രൂപമാണ്.
कालरात्रि
കല് രത്രി ദുര് ഗയുടെ ഏഴാമത്തെ രൂപമാണ്.
महागौरी
മഹാഗൌരി ദുർഗയുടെ എട്ടാമത്തെ രൂപമാണ്.
सिद्धिदात्री
സിദ്ധിദാത്രിയാണ് ദുർഗയുടെ ഒമ്പതാമത്തെയും അവസാനത്തെയും രൂപം.
